Voza Rivers/New Heritage Theatre Group in association with Community Works, International Communications Association and the Dwyer Cultural Center announced today they will present "I LIVE!" a new musical conceived and performed by Oscar and Grammy nominated IMPACT Repertory Theatre's IMPACT Vibe!, March 25 and March 26th at the Dwyer Cultural Center. The musical representing a poetic journey seen through the lives of Harlem youth combines drama, dance and original music and will be directed by
Jamal Joseph
Founded in 1997 IMPACT Repertory Theatre has achieved success and received acknowledgement through its music, receiving both an Oscar and Grammy nomination in 2008 for Best Original Song for the movie "August Rush." In addition to their worldwide television performance at the Academy Awards IMPACT has appeared on CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox TV, Nickelodeon, and have performed at, colleges, churches, festivals,penal institutions.
